Like many of his ancestors, our biographer followed a military career, joining the Militia Second Lieutenant in the Abona Provincial Regiment; With this job he acted as acting senior assistant of the aforementioned body. In addition, he was elected royal mayor of Granadilla shortly before his death and belonged to the Brotherhoods of the Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of Carmen, as well as the Brotherhood of Santa Misericordia.

But his promising military and political career was cut short by his premature death, when he was only 34 years old, seven of them as a Militia officer. He was born in Granadilla de Abona on December 26, 1756, being the Email Marketing List son of Lieutenant Don Lázaro Sebastián de Frías Bello and Doña María Josefa de Torres, of the same nature. On January 3, he was baptized in the church of San Antonio de Padua by the parish priest Don Joaquín González Perlaza del Castillo;



He was named “ Juan Pedro de Jesús ” and his maternal grandfather, Lieutenant Captain Don Pedro Alejandrino de Torres, a native and resident of said place, acted as his godfather. His paternal grandparents were: Captain Don Lázaro de Frías Mazuelos y Bello and Doña Beatriz González Ruiz del Castillo; and the maternal ones: Lieutenant Don Pedro Alejandrino de Torres and Doña María Mayor…
